In the case of this new childcare centre, 30kms outside of Melbourne’s CBD, the Architect was looking for a complete solution to house a new 2-tonne unit and conceal the machinery from view.

As this was a new development, our team were able to work with the builders to bulk up the purlins on the roof design, specifically where the unit needed to be housed, and provide our penetration-free EasyMech MR plant deck. This platform system not only is 100% penetration-free, but it also distributes the load evenly, reducing the structural requirements of the roof.

Our EasyMech MR platform is installed at 2-degree pitch and engineered to 2.5Kpa load rating. This is 7800mm wide and 4800mm long. It was assembled directly  on the rood and requires no hot works.

Our ClassicScreen Wall system was installed at 2m high and sat flush to the roof top, concealing the HVACR units and the platform.

All Con-form Group Systems are backed up by a 25-year warranty and are seismic compliant, wind load and structure load compliant.
