ScreentoRoof CR (Concrete Roof), Retail – VIC

Every screen system we manufacture (from acoustic to classic screens), can be installed on any roof type, from concrete to kliplok to corrugated – we’ve got it covered. All systems are seismically fitted and comply with AS1170.4. 

The refurb of this historic retail precinct, located in Melbourne VIC, included an upgrade to its central climate control systems, which of course means there was a requirement for the housing of new, bulky HVACR equipment. To blend aesthetically with the design of the refurb, the machinery required a screen system that would not only conceal the units from three sides, but the screen also needed to reduce noise & vibrations created by the HVACR units to protect tenants and neighbours.  

The solution, Con-form Groups proprietary Acoustic+ screen walls.  

Our team engineered, manufactured and retrofitted these 2100mm high Acoustic+ screens to the concrete membrane of this building, no other flooring required. With a surface density of 13kgs/m2 (available in five surface density options), the system provides the most effective acoustic barrier solution, reducing sound energy thanks to its three-phase operation (absorbing-reflecting-more absorbing).
