Con-form Group’s Managing Director Nigel Cro was featured on a Thought Leaders Webinar with Engineers Australia to discuss findings from the AHR Expo in the US, and how Australia is ahead of the curve when it comes to HVACR Mounting Technologies.

The AHR Expo was held in Atlanta, USA in February 2023 and is considered the world’s largest HVACR marketplace. With over 2,000 vendors from across the globe and over 65,000 people in attendance, Con-form Group expected to go there and learn from seemingly the best on the international stage. Little did we know, our Team spent time answering and teaching than they did learning.

Con-form Group was invite to speak to the Team’s experience at the expo, specifically in relation to how Australia’s HVACR mounting technologies have surpassed what is being done abroad – and to our move away from traditional mounting systems.

Managing Director at Con-form Group, Nigel Cro was joined by Senior Structural Engineer Emanuel Francica, from Vision Structures to discuss how Australia’s HVACR mounting technologies have surpassed what is being done abroad.

The Team at Con-form Group have been engineering non-structural steel solutions for HVACR mounting for over 20 years. As a result of the excitement around Nigel presented a case for the elimination of structural steel mechanical equipment platforms Australia-wide.

The innovation of Span+ has broken the norms of traditional HVACR mounting structures, providing a modular, strong, lightweight, quick to install and cost-effective solution. These technologies have been developed, engineered, tested, and launched in Australia first and are now being sort for in other international markets.
