With our range of popular Colorbond colours (plus more available on request for special projects) we are able to colour-match our screens to complement building facades. Here are two recent examples.
This rooftop apartment in Perth looks out over a lovely pool deck and gardens – a view that was affected by rows of HVACR plant equipment and the hot water system. In order to blend in with the contemporary colour scheme we selected Surfmist for our Acoustic+ screen. Not only were we able to hide the unsightly machinery, and reduce outbound machinery and air noises with the unique insulation technology within Acoustic+, we made our screen appear to be a continuation of the building itself. The screen was attached directly to the concrete roof which is one of the options we provide.
A second screen which hid equipment from another apartment was connected directly to the outer wall of the residential complex for a seamless continuation of colour.
The second example is on the roof of a basketball centre in Melbourne. The rooftop section of the building featured a Monument coloured façade. Monument (along with Surfmist) is one of our most popular colours and it was a simple decision to manufacture the Acoustic+ screen in that colour. Again, we managed to produce a seamless continuation of colour and interlocking steel cassettes which looked like they were part of the original building.
Con-form Group can supply Acoustic+ insulated noise barriers as well as our (non-insulated) Classic Screen, LouvreWall and Acoustic Louvres in popular colours which add more aesthetic appeal to rooftop environments. As we like to say…
